Finance Senior Analyst

Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Support day to day finance operational processes, including premium and suspense reconciliation, cash application, accounts payable processing, and related transactions
• Perform detailed subledger and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Execute and monitor daily and monthly cash processing activities, including posting, reconciliations, and suspense resolution
• Assist with month end close activities, including preparation of schedules, reconciliations, and support for journal entries
• Work within Oracle Fusion Financials to research transactions, run reports, and support process execution and issue resolution
• Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies in transaction processing and escalate opportunities for process improvement or automation
• Support internal controls by following documented procedures, maintaining audit ready workpapers, and assisting with audit requests
• Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Systems teams to ensure data accuracy and timely resolution of operational issues

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3–6 years of experience in finance operations, accounting, or transactional finance roles
• Insurance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred), including exposure to subledgers, reconciliations, and transaction research
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large data sets and high transaction volumes
• Solid understanding of basic accounting concepts, including cash, AP, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ability to follow established processes while also identifying areas for improvement
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document work and explain findings
