Insurance Portfolio Analyst
This position offers an opportunity to become a key contributor within Revol One Investment Management’s Insurance Portfolio Management Team—the central hub for overseeing and managing Revol One’s investment portfolio.
We’re looking for someone with the professional and intellectual versatility to engage in all phases of this critical growth area’s life cycle. Your contributions will span business development, portfolio management, idea generation, analytical support, problem-solving, and relationship management.
This role provides significant potential for rapid growth in both complexity and responsibility, driven by your unique skills and the accelerating trajectory of our business and assets under management.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Monitor investment portfolio performance, risk exposures, and alignment with insurance liabilities
Support ALM analysis, liquidity forecasting, and capital planning
Assist in the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the investment system, including data validation, reporting build-out, and workflow optimization
Execute trades in accordance with approved hedging strategies and support the derivative hedging program through exposure monitoring, reporting, and related operational activities
Produce dashboards, reports, and market insights for senior investment leadership
Analyze asset class trends, credit quality shifts, and duration positioning
Partner with Finance, Actuarial, Risk and Investment Operations to ensure integrated balance sheet management
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
A minimum of 1-4 years of relevant experience in insurance portfolio management; will consider related work experience in lieu of direct insurance-related experience
MBA with emphasis in finance and accounting; CFA designation desired
Strong teammate
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical capabilities
Knowledge of the following strongly desired:
Public and private fixed income instruments and portfolio management
Insurance company regulations
Risk-based capital for insurance companies
Statutory and GAAP investment accounting for insurance companies
Insurance company products
Asset-liability management in an insurance company environment
Liability hedging
PC skills and ability to use/learn analytical software: FactSet, Bloomberg
